I’ve seen a lot of blogs with year in review or decade in review posts. So. 2009 pretty much sucked. Most of this decade I spent taking care of my dad, watching him slowly lose his struggle with dementia, while at the same time managing to hang on to his sense of the ridiculous and his basic ornery nature. I’m glad I came home.

Okay, for some reason, the captions for my pictures have disappeared. It must have been that most recent update from WordPress. GRR. So the first photo is of a bracelet of Earth, Moon, Mars orbiting our local star. The second is my attempt to make a neutron star, which are kind of bizarre little critters, so the bizarre was, in fact, intentional. It’s a pin. So is the “pink dwarf star” in the last photo, with it’s bracelets of orbiting pink planets — for all the Pink Warriors out there.
