Me and zebras

My thing for zebras goes way back to childhood.  I remember for some reason that whenever the family went to visit the Houston Zoo, I couldn’t leave until I’d seen the flamingos and the zebras.  I had a pink bedroom, so naturally, I had to see the pink birds.  Zebras, I’m not so sure about what the attraction was.  I was afraid of horses — but those black and white stripes drew me like a magnet.

I’m not as crazy about pink any more, but you’ll see from my wacky collection, that I still go in for black and white stripes.
